CHARLOTTE – The Paranormal Investigator’s Convention is going on this weekend in Southwest Charlotte. It’s taking place at the Ramada Inn Airport Conference Center through Sunday, November 8th. This is the first time an event like this has been held in Charlotte.

“Many people who are into ghost hunting and the paranormal in general have come out to join us,” said Tina McSwain, President of the Charlotte Area Paranormal Society.

The event features seminars, vendors and appearances from some well-known ghost hunters, including Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango from SyFy’s “Ghost Hunters.” “We wanted to bring some of the best from television and radio,” said event promoter Mel Minitor.

Organizers say people from at least 28 states have traveled to Charlotte to take part in the event.
