What is Chef’s Best?

Chef's Best is a benefit event for  Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina’s Community Food Rescue Program.  The 21st annual Chef’s Best event will feature a reception followed by an elegant fivecourse dinner with each course prepared by one of the region’s finest chefs. This year, Food Network’s PAULA DEEN will be joining Harris Teeter in preparing the Entree

course with food provided by Smithfield. The event also features an auction with
restaurant, travel and sports packages. Perry’s of Southpark will be providing jewelry
pieces for the auction with Ernest Perry serving as auctioneer.
 
How does your sponsorship help?
15% of the population in the Metrolina Region lives at or below the poverty level. Over 170,000 of these individuals are children and seniors. These individuals make difficult choices whether to purchase food or pay other expenses such as utilities, rent and medical care. Your sponsorship will make a real difference in the lives of our less fortunate neighbors.
