On Saturday – May 14th, your postal carrier will be collecting non-perishable and canned goods that you leave out by your mailbox. This is their annual Food Drive and it benefits The Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, CAPS Official 2010/2011 Charity. Please remember your hungry neighbors this Saturday and leave your donations by your mailbox for the mail carrier to pick up.

Add a few extra items to your next trip to the grocery store. It doens' take much effort to make a big difference in the life of someone who is battling hunger.

CAPS Core Team will be volunteering at select post offices in Charlotte to help with this great cause. The food donated stays in our area, the 19 counties surrounding Charlotte-Mecklenburg, so it really does help your neighbors.

Together, we can defeat hunger!!
