Want to walk a historic property right here in Charlotte and hear the ghostly tales associated with the site? CAPS recommends the Ghost Walk at Historic Rosedale:
Ghost Walk
10/30/2010
5:30pm
Guests should gather around the tables under the Swamp Chestnut toward the rear of the home. This enchanted tree stands close to where the slave quarters and original smithy once existed. You will walk the same paths of those who worked, lived, and died at Rosedale. Some believe the former inhabitants still reside at Rosedale. Experience the energy of the plantation while hearing stories of those who have experienced strange encounters. What will you see, hear, smell... will someone tap your shoulder or tug your sleeve? Is it Elbert, the former “conjure man” or Archibald Frew, the ill-fated original owner, or Cherry the nurse and root healer? Advance reservations encouraged. We suggest participants bring a small flashlight. Tour approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
No refunds under any circumstances
$10.00 per person
For those less faint of heart, CAPS recommends the Midnight in the House Tour beginning at 11pm.

Every Midnight Tour has produced a new story to tell. Maybe you will be the next tale. (Limited to 8). Please arrive at 10:45pm at the front gate.
No refunds under any circumstances.
$85 per person or $150 for two with on line registration prior to October 26th.

If being scared out of your wits in the great outdoors is your thing, CAPS recommends Woods of Terror in Greensboro, NC and Spookywoods in High Point, NC. (Rumor has it that both of these locations are ACTUALLY haunted)
The Haunted Mill in Belmont, NC is something truly different for Halloween. It is a haunted attraction housed in a 100 year old mill (That is ACTUALLY haunted).
With the Halloween season in full swing, now is the time to check out those Ghost Walks in your area. CAPS recommends The Downtown Salisbury Ghost Walk, and the Davidson, NC Ghostwalk.
